Did you accidentally launch an app that makes a lot of noise? It is easy to mute the volume on the iPad. All you have to do is hold down the volume-down key until it turns off. If you mute a lot, you may configure your lock button into a mute button. You can choose whether your lock orientation button functions as a way of locking the orientation or as a mute button. Earlier version of the iPad didn't have this feature. If you are running the operating system iOS at 4.3 or later, you can. Holding the volume-down button will mute your iPad. Try using street view on the Google Maps app. First, perform a simple search so that the red pin will show on the map. Once your red pin shows up, tap it and then tap the white and red person icon to load your Street View feature.

Does it irritate you when you get an alert about your iPad detecting a wi-fi network? Go to settings and turn this off. Go to the tab for Wi-Fi and turn off the last option if you wish to not have any more notifications. Screenshots are not hard to take on your iPad. Press the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously. Click! The photo will be taken and visible in your Photos app. If you are using the Safari web browser and want to return to the beginning of a page, just click the top of the title window. While scrolling is possible, it is time consuming. Tapping your title window helps speed things up.

Change the Always Show Bookmarks to On and you're done. The user-friendliness of the iPad is part of what makes it so wonderful. You will notice that the iPad only comes with one button. Play with your iPad and you will discover a lot of features by yourself. It's not like Linux; you can explore without breaking anything. Battery life can be extended with some key changes. Avoid hot environments like cars. Keep the screen brightness turned down. Turn on the airplane mode if you have no need for the Internet. Turning Push off is another feature that you will want to be aware of to save battery. Check your mailbox and your calendar manually, or choose an interval of a few minutes.
