Turn on auto brightness to help with your battery life. When you choose auto brightness, your device will adjust to the lighting within your surroundings. The prevents you from draining your battery unnecessarily during high light conditions. It can make a big difference in battery life between recharges. Go to Settings, and then locate the "Brightness & Wallpaper" setting. When you take photographs, you may grasp the sides of the iPad to hold it. Doing so will make the shutter button move around, causing wobbly pictures. Give the orientation lock a try. You can then put the button to push near your thumb. Snap the picture and use the editor afterwards to edit the media to your liking. Do your iPad's sounds make you crazy? Go to Settings and select the Sound tab. You are able to get rid of alerts if you get a message. Along with completely turning off these alerts, you also have the option of reducing their volume level.

If your iPad freezes, perform a soft reset to reboot your device. Simultaneously hold down the Power and Home buttons for several seconds. Your device will then restart. If all you need is for an application to close, then hold down the home button. Keep it held for a second or two. You might never use all of the apps on your iPad. The catch is that not all of the pre-loaded apps can be deleted. If you find that there are several built-in apps that you aren't using, create a folder to contain them. This lets you focus on the ones you use most. Use shortcuts to make sending messages a breeze. You can finish up a sentence by tapping twice on the space bar to add a period and a space. They generally connect wirelessly with your iPad and you can find them affordably online, too. If you keep personal data in your tablet, it is critical you back it up for if you lose the tablet or someone steals it. Also, make sure your iPad is set to erase all the information in case anyone tries to get into it. Look for Password Lock in the Settings menu, and have it set to erase all data when your password is entered incorrectly 10 times. "Find My iPad" is a helpful feature to use in case you ever lose track of your iPad. This feature will locate your iPad and let you delete information as needed remotely. If you ever need to use this app, it will become indispensable.
