Expert Tips.....

There are a few easy tricks to keeping your iPad battery life high. Do not let it sit in a hot space, particularly in a car. Turn down the screen brightness whenever possible. If you don't nee the Internet, switch to airplane mode. Turning Push off helps tremendously, too. You can manually check email instead. Some people are annoyed by the battery charge indicator that is always onscreen. The removal process is actually incredibly easy! Go to settings, then go to general, and then usage. Here you can disable it. However, if you want to turn this feature back on, perform the same steps again. You can now use folders on the iOS iPad. Start by putting your finger on the app. As it starts jiggling, you drag the app over another icon and then let go. Doing so creates a folder containing both of these apps. You can rename the folder, if you like.

After reading this article working on your iPad will be easier than ever before. It's a great gadget, has a lot of power, and can be used for nearly anything. Start trying the different tips you just read and keep exploring different features and apps. To take your use of the iPad up a few notches, keep the advice from this article in mind. You will be amazed at what you can do. It is not just about having the "latest and the greatest." It is about having a useful device that makes your life easier. The default email signature is found in factory settings. This is a bit lame, but many people don't bother to change it. You are able to change that and make it more personal. Choose Mail in your settings, then Contacts, Calendar and Signature; this is where you can change it.

To copy text on your iPad is simple; you just need to double click any keyword. This method is a bit hard to use for an entire paragraph. Tap your editable, chosen text and that will copy the entire paragraph. That works for addresses, paragraphs and the URL bar. To add your Google Calendar to your iPad calendar app, select Mail, Contacts and Calendars. Click on Add Account and then Other. Pick the CalDAV icon and enter your personal Google Calender information. Then navigate out of settings and click on the calendar application. Your information should now be there! You should adapt the brightness settings to suit the environment you are in. You can dim the screen easily, just double tap the Home button, then swipe until you find the brightness setting. This will let you alter the brightness of the screen to suit your current situation.

It's so simple to send photos to loved ones. You don't need to make an email and add attachments. For a simple way to send a picture, all you need to do is pick the picture you'd like to share, press on the arrow that is located at the upper-right corner, then press "email." If everyone in your family is going to use your iPad, it is possible for you to set parental controls. Go to General settings tab and select "enable restrictions" to ban access to mature content. Children should always have parental guidance when online. Have you been wondering if you can merge your Google Calendar with your Calender app on your iPad? To get this set up, click on Settings, Mail, Contacts, and Calendars, in that order. You can add an account by simply clicking and pressing Other. Your Google info can be added in Add CalDAV account.

The chime on the iPad that alerts you of new email can be very annoying. You can get rid of these alerts. Just go to Settings then General. Tap Sounds. Here, you can turn off your New Mail sound or adjust its level. You may need to plug your tablet into the back, not the front, of your computer for charging to work. USB ports differ in power output, and often front-panel USB ports are designed for low-power devices like keyboards and mice. If you are still having problems, get a USB adapter that plugs into a wall outlet. The iPad comes already loaded with applications you may not find useful. Many of these apps cannot be deleted. Place them into a separate folder and move them so that it is far from where you spend your time. This lets you focus on the ones you use most.
